Bloody Knife Redux

My very first skin for STALKER, I edited the Blade and handle to a darker color and added some blood. I worked on this skin for about 5 hours ( most of it was just fiddling around with texture colors and blood ), I'm going to update it soon with Normal Maps after I learn how to make them better.

  • Added bump maps, edited the Main Skin a little and added more detail.
Problems:
  • None so far, should work with all mods since it only edits the Knife Texture.

    Hey, AE!

    Wow, I have to say...this so far is the best non-half-assed knife skin I've seen. Really nice, better than almost all out there. Very good effort, I like the way the knife looks now.

    Can't give you any suggestions other than to work on the handle a bit (the shininess in the texture really needs to go).

    Pros: Love the detail. Like how the blood is on there.

    Cons: None so far in my Gaming. Improvements: Maybe a little more detail on the blood. Notes: Awesome knife, the one I'm using :D.

    Posted by Siro Hey buddy...if you're in the Bar area, go to the bar entrance. They have a bright light there. Then we can see your skin. As of now, I can't see crap. Sorry, but I would like better screens before I assess it.

    I fixed the screenshots, I took the screenshots fast because I had to go to work. I'm still working on the normal maps, right now for some reason the bump maps won't update to the newer skin so you'll still see the shadows from the older knife ( like the text )
